A Difficult Year

Yes it’s been a toughie, but I’m hoping that I’ve managed to sort myself out.

One effect of these trying times is a delay in the delivery of the 10th Capper Casebook, working title NOT a Christmas Fantasy Murder.

I was about half way through this tale when I abandoned ship. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good enough so instead of setting the events around the time of Halloween, I shifted them to Christmas. It gives me time to get it right.

What can you expect?

Needless to say there’ll be at least one murder and plenty of witty asides, but this time, Christine will also be in for a few shocks.

Christine and Cappy the Cat find a new friend in Frankie Petheridge, carer two or three days a week to Hazel McQuarrie, Christine’s elderly next door neighbour. She’ll also come into contact with the local LARP set. And if you don’t know what LARP is, you’re in good company.  I didn’t until I did the research. It stands of Live Action Role Play. A bunch of adults behaving like children, playing witches and wizards in Hattersley Woods.

I’m saying no more than that.

I anticipate setting it up for pre-order sometime around the end of November and the release will be just before Christmas. Like all my titles, it will be exclusive to Amazon, so those of you who subscribe to Prime or KUL will be able to read it free. The rest of you will have plenty of pre-order time to save your pennies and buy it.

And if you’re not up to snuff with Christine’s adventures, you can learn about them… HERE
